Sperry's at 30 1/2 Caroline St, Saratoga Springs, New York.

My husband and I recently went to Sperry’s to celebrate our anniversary. We had only been there once before for restaurant week but enjoyed it so my mother-in-law purchased a $50 gift certificate for us so we could go there again.
When my bill came I used the $50 GC and I had my receipt showing the new balance which I paid with my bank debit card. I was shocked to discover the very next day that I had been overcharged for our meals. My credit card statement showed a charge exactly $50 more than it was supposed to — the exact value of my gift card.
I contacted the restaurant immediately and the manager ask me to email the receipt luckily I still had it. He called back stately, that my waiter had added an extra $50 to his tip. I was so pissed that they stole from me. I only offered to put the $50 back in my account. They timeline goes 2/18 $107.02 out 2/21/18 $8 out and $107.02 back in my account. Now 7 days later $49.51 is pending to come out of my account. I think this a crazy your restaurant stole from me and now they’re playing ping pong with my bank account. I’m so LIVID I would never go there again and caution people to keep their receipts and checking their bank accounts.

Food was excellent as always. Service also. Portions large making the price very reasonable for a top notch Saratoga restaurant.

Food very slow. About twemty minutes between appetizer pickup and entree arrival. Lost appetite. Meatball app was good. Oysters not so much. Entree late and average.
